Rick Ross Interview at His Music Video Shoot

That one time I got to hang out at a Rick Ross music video shoot on Fairfax… This opportunity actually came to me while I was hanging out on Fairfax working on a feature story on the block for HYPEBEAST. Big thank you to the good people at Kayo who hit me up about this event and invited me. The highlight of the day was probably when a fan asked Ross to sign a pear and he laughed and did it. I waited around all night for a chance to interview the boss himself and I got to catch him for a conversation after the shoot. Our convo became posts on both HYPETRAK and HYPEBEAST. Check out an excerpt from the interview below:

What song on the album Hood Billionaire means the most to you?
Rick Ross: “If They Knew,” the song we’re shooting the video for now is one of them. Also my collaborations with JAY, with Snoop… you know, it’s what you want. It’s hard to express the passion because when I make a record, I make it with everything that I feel inside of me. I always try to give my best. If I had to name the difference between latest two projects, I’d say Mastermind was espresso and Hood Billionaire is cocaine.
